We started our humble origin as a people management consulting firm in Jakarta back in 2003. We celebrated our 5th Anniversary in 2008 and in 2009, we opened our Malaysia office in Kuala Lumpur. We went on to celebrate our 10th Anniversary in 2013, followed by our 15th Anniversary in 2018. We are looking forward to celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2023 and other anniversaries in years to come.
Setting up a business from scratch is not easy. Our experience over the years have shown that it is even more challenging to sustain and grow our business. The market competition is intense and the clients are getting more demanding in terms of their requirements and expectations for high quality deliverables with tangible impact. The volatility of market condition is fueled by rapid changes and disruptions in the business landscape with the introduction of new technologies and the impact of global COVID pandemic. These forces are compelling the enterprises to transform and adapt to the new normal of doing business. And hiring and retaining a pool of talented people to help with sustaining and growing our business is a key challenge.
Amidst all these challenges, we had grown to become a leading consulting firm in the ASEAN region, focusing on people management consulting and executive education. Our clients span across the corporate and public sectors and we had undertaken consulting assignments for a diversified clientele across industries which cover the medium and large sized enterprises, state owned enterprises, government agencies and multinational corporations.
In the field of executive education, we had made significant progress with the launching of our flagship ASEAN Global Leadership Development Program (AGLP) in 2009. To date, we have collaborated with a consortium of global business schools in the UK, China and the US. Our AGLP alumni comprise some 500 members at the C-suite and Board level from both the corporate and public sectors in Southeast Asia.
We have now ventured into the technology space to transform our consulting business, leveraging on the knowledge and research capital that we had accumulated over the years in people management consulting and executive education. Soon we will be launching our digital platform under the brand name of ‘Profesi.io’. This will provide a suite of smart people solution to better serve our clients and in meeting the market demand for a more cost effective people management solution through our digital platform which is based on artificial intelligence technology.
As we look forward to celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2023, we feel proud and blessed that we have weathered through the ups and downs over the years and have been able to continue growing and sustaining our business with a firm foundation.
