ReadingKUALA LUMPUR: The Asean Business Advisory Council (Asean-BAC) and regional management consulting firm SRW&Co. have signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) on granting scholarships to winners of the Asean Business Awards 2016.
The MoA was signed by Oudet Souvannavong representing Asean-BAC and Daniel wong of SRW&Co. at the Asean Secretariat yesterday.
There are three scholarships for winners in the "Young entrepreneur of The Year", "Woman Entrepreneur of The Year", and "The Most Innovative SME" categories and they will also attend the Asean Global Leadership Programme (AGLP) at leading universities and business schools next year.
The Asean Global Leadership Program (AGLP) is a custom-designed five-day programme focusing on the four key themes of globalisation, entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.
The programmes are meant to provide a learning platform for the participants to address the challenges and opportunities in the Asean Economic Community context, while promoting business networking.
The first AGLP was launched in 2009 in collaboration with the University of Cambridge Judge Business School in the United Kingdom, followed by the Cheung Kong Graduate Business School in China, the UC berkeley Haas Business School in the United States, and the London Business School in the UK.
To date, the AGLP Alumni comprises some 250 top executives at the C-suites and board level in the corporate sector.
